Buyer’s Guide to Choosing Rubber Bands

Rubber bands provide a simple and reusable way to bundle documents, secure bags, organise inventory and group lightweight items for storage or dispatch. Insinc’s range includes multiple numbered sizes to suit office, warehouse, retail and packaging applications.

Options are available in convenient 500g packs, while selected brown rubber bands are supplied in larger 2kg boxes for businesses with higher-volume requirements.

Which Rubber Band Size Should You Choose?

Smaller-numbered rubber bands generally suit compact bundles and lighter items, while larger numbered options may be better for wider or bulkier groups. Available sizes include No. 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 63, 64, 65, 106 and 109.

Numbering systems do not always communicate the exact dimensions clearly, so check the band’s length, width and thickness before ordering. The correct size should hold the bundle securely without needing excessive stretching.

Choosing the Right Pack Quantity

The 500g packs suit general office and warehouse use across a range of sizes. Larger 2kg boxes of brown rubber bands are available in selected sizes, including No. 8, 10, 12, 16 and 18, for frequent packaging and inventory tasks.

Store rubber bands away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and chemicals that could affect their elasticity. Replace bands that have become brittle, cracked or overstretched.
